WAVE PLAY (Attracting the opponent to one flank to progress through the opposite side)

Description

Objective: - Attract the opponent to one flank to progress through the opposite side. Conditioning rule: - When the ball is in a wide lane (strong side), no defending player can be in the other wide lane (weak side). - Switch play in max. 6". Observations: - The idea is to circulate the ball wide to draw the opponent to one side, then quickly switch the ball to the opposite flank. - We switch the ball quickly, and the wing-back must reach the byline and cross. - The 3 central players + the opposite wing-back will enter to finish, with the pivots covering the rebound zone. - If the opposing team wins the ball, they can score in the small goals on the lane where they made the interception.
