WAVES (Counter-attack)

Description

Objective: - Transition to a counter-attack immediately upon winning the ball or following a turnover. Conditioning rule: - As soon as the opponent loses possession, quickly play a pass to a free player on the flank. Notes: - Pairs with a ball are positioned to the side of the goals. - Players are placed on the sides at midfield to create numerical superiority during the counter-attack. - The action starts with a pass from one of the two players on the goal line (two attackers) to a forward positioned in the wide area, who makes a supporting run to receive and execute the collective counter-attacking action, finishing before the defenders can track back. If the defending team wins the ball, they must attempt to play to another wide player to launch their own counter. - Once the attacking action is finished, the two players who started the offensive move automatically become two defenders. Meanwhile, another offensive action begins: two new attackers receive a pass from one of the players stationed at the side of the goal to another player in midfield, simulating a counter-attacking scenario.
