Organizing the Back Four

Description

This drill focuses on the transition between defending the central zone and shifting towards the flanks. To practice this, the two central midfielders pass the ball between themselves and then suddenly play it to one of the strikers. The striker immediately passes to the winger. Following this, the back four shifts towards the flank and the full-back marks the winger. If this is not executed correctly, the winger can cross the ball. Otherwise, a back pass is played and the drill starts again.
