INTERCEPTION, ANTICIPATION AND TACKLING 3

Description

1. A player passes to the teammate in front, and the player positioned at the pole behind them must anticipate and steal the ball. NOTE*: The defender positioned to the right of the goal will be performing anticipations and interceptions with a coach until the ball reaches step 4. 2. The player who wins the ball must dribble quickly to the pole located furthest to the right and slightly behind the starting one. 2* The player who lost the ball enters a recovery state, so they must perform a speed exercise circling the pole on the left of the diagram as soon as they lose the ball. 3. The player with the ball will try to play a low pass to the teammate running down the wing at speed after completing the zig-zag. If successful, they will enter the box to finish. 3* The player without the ball must choose between 2 options. If they arrive at speed to intercept the teammate advancing toward their corresponding pole, they must win the ball via a tackle. Conversely, if they see they won't arrive in time due to lack of speed, they must move into the box to anticipate the cross or intercept it. 4. This action is carried out if the winger receives the ball; if they do, they will cross for their teammate to finish. 5. A defender will come off the goal line to clear the cross at the moment of execution; at the same time, the first defender must arrive in time to carry out their defensive role. The goalkeeper will also intervene if in a position to intercept the ball.
