Description
Part 1 Attacking from the wings The first group of defenders stands in front of the goal. An attacker starts with the ball from the left wing, facing the goal. The defenders defend the attack aggressively: - The wide defender closes the channel - Try to force the attacker towards the sideline and win the 2v1 there After each successful repetition, defenders and attackers rotate. Part 2 Attacking from the wings The same exercise from the right side Part 3 Attacking through the center The first group of defenders stands in front of the goal. An attacker starts with the ball from the center, heading towards the goal. The defenders defend aggressively: - The defender on the side of the attacker's ball-carrying foot presses and tries to force the attacker towards their teammate - The other defender tries to read the forward's movements to help their teammate win the ball After each successful repetition, defenders and attackers rotate. Coaching points In numerical superiority, always defend aggressively Common errors - Defenders standing at the same depth, with no one knowing who should press first - Facing the forward head-on - Too much space between the two defenders: creating a 1v1 situation for the forward
