Pressing Race
- Level:
- Hard, Intermediate
- Duration:
- 20 min
- Recommended age:
- ["infantil","senior"]
Description
In each of the first sub-grids, a 5v3 (or 4v2) is set up. Each team is in a numerical disadvantage in one grid and a numerical advantage in the other. The team with the numerical advantage starts the game from the starting line and tries to keep possession in one part of the grid for as long as possible. The team in numerical disadvantage tries to direct the opponent's attack so that they are forced to play into the next sub-grid. Once the ball has been played into the next part of the grid, it cannot be played back into the previous one. The goal of the team in numerical disadvantage is for the ball to cross the goal line. This happens either because the team in numerical disadvantage dribbles into the next sub-grid or because the team with the numerical advantage is forced into errors by the pressing. Which team will reach the goal line first?
