Anticipation and Tackling - Aerial Play in Midfield

Description

The drill starts with the blue team's goalkeeper launching a long ball to the center of the pitch towards one of his two teammates positioned in that sector. - If a yellow team player wins the header, they must direct the header to the side-front so that their teammate, located in the yellow square, tries to win it and then finishes the drill by scoring in the small goal located further ahead (without leaving the square that defines their area within the drill). In case the blue player, who is trying to prevent the goal, tackles the ball, they can only pass to the teammate located in the square on the other half of the pitch so that this player tries to exit their square with the ball and cross for their forwards to finish. - If a blue team player wins the header, they must direct their header to the side-back (flick it) so that their teammate, located in the blue square on the side, tries to exit the square dribbling the ball to cross from the cone to their forward teammates. In case the yellow player succeeds in their task, i.e., tackling the ball before their rival exits the square, they can pass to their teammate in the square located on the other half of the pitch so that the latter tries to score in the small goal located further ahead.
