4 defenders + 1 defensive pivot vs 7 attackers

Description

The yellow team's task is to try to score using offensive lessons learned in previous training sessions. They must also prevent counter-attacks from the blue team. The blue team must primarily defend their goal and prevent the yellow team from scoring; once they recover the ball, they can quickly counter-attack with a maximum of 5-10 touches and try to score in the yellow team's goal. While the blue team is defending, it is important to consider the correct shifting of the 5 defenders depending on which player has the ball and where they are located. When a defender moves out to block a potential shot/pass, the other defenders must close the gap by shifting slightly towards the position of the defender who moved out. If the yellow team scores or the ball goes out of play, the exercise restarts from their own goal (halfway line). It is recommended to open the game with the help of the striker, pivoting: i.e., the striker comes to support the midfielder with the ball, receives the pass, and plays a one-touch pass to another player before making a run towards the goal. On the flanks, it is advisable to seek numerical superiority (a good option is for the interior player to overlap the winger). Frequently attempt quick switches of play to disorganize the defense and find gaps.
