LINE WORK (Build-up play 1)
- Level:
- Intermediate
- Duration:
- 20 min
Description
Objective: - Build-up play. Provocation rule: - Pressure during the build-up to force a long pass. Observations: - The space is divided into 3 sectors. - The team working on the objective (no bibs) must cross the midfield line with the ball under control; if the opposing team (yellow) wins the ball, they can score in the goal. - For the team without bibs, players in the first two sectors can move freely in attack, with the only requirement being to keep at least one player near the goal (for team balance). However, players in the third sector cannot leave it; their role is to provide continuity to the team's play based on the third-man concept. - In defense, each player must remain in their starting zone. - The yellow team, when defending, can occupy the sector near the goal with a maximum of two players and a minimum of one. When attacking, they can move freely (except for one player who must stay back to provide balance).
