Passing with control / ball carrying and opponent pressure - Variation II
- Level:
- Intermediate
- Duration:
- 20 min
- Recommended age:
- ["cadet","youth"]
Description
Player A starts the combination with a pass to player B and makes a diagonal run while player B plays a one-two back to player A and sprints to cone III. Player D then positions himself at cone II, taking the spot previously held by B. Player A controls the ball returned by B with one touch, dribbles diagonally for about two or three meters, and passes to C. Player C sprints to cone I, rounding cone IV after passing the ball to player A's feet. At the same time, player E runs towards player A. A changes direction after receiving the pass from C and dribbles towards E, attempting to beat him with a dribble. The coach must decide how aggressively player E should engage, whether he should let A pass or attempt to win the ball. E returns to the starting cone to restart the play, and his position is taken by another player.
